Often used those websites who have a portion of another webpage added to the webpage you're viewing and probably think you'll need a special software or tool to accomplish the same thing on your webpage, right? Nope, definately not it, it's really quite a simple trick to do.

Let's support for just a minute for many who may be wanting to enhance their website and haven't any idea what works and what doesn't. You see, the internet is nothing more than eye candy for the purpose a person wants to sell or advertise about. The complete picture of making a website successful has a lot to do with visual attraction. Large schemes of your webpage can and they make a difference if someone quickly leaves or stays to see what you have to say.

The adage of; "A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words" is just as true online as it is in the real world. If you can cause a person to stop and stare, for a few seconds, it's like hooking a fish and many types of that's left could be the reeling in of the road.

A very easy way to promote another page out of your website in a small but noticeable way is by using thumbnail shots, or small image captions of your webpage. This works really well toward holding your reader's attention. When they see it, they usually want to see more of it, and also this causing them to click on the image or caption below it and appearance it out as well.

Okay, this is the free lesson for the entire day. Choose a webpage you want to make a thumbnail of online. One of the webpages of course, then seek on your keyboard, usually inside the upper right hand side, do you see a key that says; "Print Screen" ? Click on it. Nothing happened right? Wrong, it's got saved that snapshot from the page you told it to print. Now, open your Word document completely to another blank page, and right click the blank page. Then select "Paste", this will place a picture with the webpage you told it to print and put it on the Word document page. We're done yet, now go through the picture, and you should see small squares in each corner of the image. Take the mouse and click and drag the look size to make the image smaller.

Choose whatever size you need your thumbnail to be and duplicate and paste in your webpage builder program or save image files to work with in your webpage builder program and you have created a nice thumbnail picture of a webpage to entice your potential customers to click on and display that webpage, provided you placed the right linking for the image.
